Day 01: Colombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International airport in Colombo. Check into the hotel. A sightseeing tour of Colombo after breakfast. Visit the Fort and Pettah, Town Hall, Independence Square, BICH (Bandaranaike International Convention Hall) and National Museum. Drive through Cinnamon Gardens, Dehiwala zoological gardens, elephant circus., Buddhist temple and a Hindu temple. Overnight Stay at Colombo.

Day 02 : Colombo / Anuradhapura / Giritale

Drive towards Anuradhapura after breakfast. Go for a sightseeing tour of Anuradhapura. Proceed to Giritale for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 : Giritale / Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa

In the morning drive to Sigiriya. Climb the Sigiriya rock fortress to view the famous frescoes. See the mirror wall and thereafter proceed to Polonnaruwa. Sightseeing tour of Polonnaruwa when you visit the ruins of the audience hall, council chamber, the royal citadel, the Kumara Pokuna (pond) Royal Pavillion, Siva Dewale, the Thuparama, the Vatadage relic house, Kiriwehera, Gal Vihare etc. Return to Giritale for an overnight stay.

Day 04 : Giritale / Kandy

Morning drive to Kandy visiting Dambulla rock cave temples enroute. Visit a spice garden at Matale and a woodcarving factory and a batik factory. Continue to drive towards Kandy. Check into the hotel in Kandy. Visit Dalada Maligawa in the late evening. Thereafter view a cultural performance in the city. Overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 05 : Kandy / Pinnawela / Colombo

Sightseeing tour of Kandy in the morning. Visit the Peradeniya Botanical gardens with an exotic collection of tropical and indigenous flora along with the famous orchid house. Drive back to Colombo. Visit Pinnawela elephant orphanage, which takes care of the feeding of elephants. Overnight stay at Colombo.

Day 06 : Departure

Reach the Colombo airport in the morning to board a flight to your onward destination or way back home.
